Privacy at 195-0
195-0 can be played without an account. This notice covers browser storage, analytics, Google advertising services, public records, and optional portrait generation.
Google Analytics and Plausible
The site loads Google Analytics and a Plausible analytics script to understand visits and feature usage. Google Analytics can use cookies and browser or device identifiers to measure activity. Google receives information when its scripts load; this may include the page address, browser information, and network information. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and the Plausible data policy.
Our analytics events describe game and guide interactions. We do not intentionally include uploaded photos, candidate names entered by players, or leaderboard display names in those event payloads. You can use browser privacy settings or the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to limit Google Analytics collection.
Advertising cookies and your choices
The site includes Google AdSense code. Loading the code does not mean that an advertisement will be available on every visit. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other websites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.
You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. Some other vendors offer choices through YourAdChoices. Read Google's advertising technology policy for more information. Browser cookie controls can also restrict storage, although that can affect site features.
Understanding which guides help players
When you follow a tracked guide link in the same tab, session storage temporarily records that guide’s path and the time of the click. If you start a game within 30 minutes, our analytics event includes that guide path, then the temporary record is removed. It does not include a player identifier, name, photo, or search query. Closing the tab clears the session record; disabled storage does not prevent play.
No account is required
Classic and Daily games do not require a signup. Your browser stores a locally generated player identifier and local game preferences so it can recognize your own leaderboard entry and custom candidate on that device.
Basic service, security, and analytics data may be processed by the hosting and privacy-friendly analytics services used to operate the site. We do not sell personal data.
Names and scores you submit
If you submit a commander name after a game, that display name and the server-verified score are stored for the public leaderboard. Do not use a name, contact detail, or other information you do not want displayed publicly.
The leaderboard is designed to keep a player’s best verified result for a board. It is not an identity system and should not be used to submit personal information.
How optional photo generation works
The Avatar Maker accepts a JPG, PNG, or WebP image only after you confirm that you have the right to use it. The browser prepares a resized copy, sends it to the 195-0 portrait endpoint, and the endpoint forwards it to ApiMart solely to generate the requested illustrated portrait.
195-0 does not add your source photo or generated portrait to the public candidate archive. The generated image is returned to your browser and your selected custom candidate can be kept in that browser’s local storage. ApiMart is a separate service; its handling of the uploaded image is governed by its own service terms and privacy practices.
Control and questions
You can clear a saved custom candidate from the Avatar Maker. Clearing browser storage removes the locally saved candidate on that device. Public leaderboard names and scores may remain on the public board as game records.
For a privacy question or a request about a public leaderboard record, use the Contact page and include the exact displayed commander name and board where applicable. Do not include private information in a public GitHub issue.
