A fresh fair challenge

The daily world draft strategy puzzle

Every day, every player receives the same five country-and-category rounds. There are no respins, so the puzzle is about making the best trade-offs from the same information.

How it stays fair

Five locked rounds, one shared board

Identical candidate pools

The round order and candidates are fixed for the current UTC day. Everyone starts with the same choices rather than a lucky respin.

No respins

Classic Draft is for experimenting. Daily mode removes category and country respins, so deciding whether to spend a specialist now is the central challenge.

Best verified score

Your strongest verified daily run is eligible for the daily board. Check the leaderboard to compare the winning record.

A practical approach

Three rules for locked-pool strategy

Reserve specialist categories

When a strong military or finance pick appears, consider whether General or Treasurer will be harder to fill later. These critical roles make early discipline valuable.

Use flexible seats deliberately

Vice President is more forgiving than the specialist seats. It is usually the safest home for a solid candidate with no obvious top-tier assignment.

Count countries late

Country diversity can add a coalition bonus, but only after core role fit is protected. Use it as a tiebreaker, not a reason to waste a key seat.

Practice, then play the shared puzzle

Use Classic Draft to test combinations, read the exact scoring rules, then return for today's locked challenge. Your final score maps to a clear result tier.
